Jessica Valdez

She was born in Tacna, Peru and is a Fine Artist from the Jorge Basadre Grohmann National University. Since her childhood, she has cultivated a deep love for colors and textures, which led her to explore the art of illustration. She is finishing studying the Illustration Postgraduate (FADU-UBA) and the Diploma in Book Art from UNA. She has worked independently since 2017, and has illustrated for various editorial projects. She enjoys experimenting with traditional techniques, charcoal, gouache, acrylics, and digital. She is currently co-founder of Qamaqi Studio, a company dedicated to the production of audiovisual content.
